Where to Stay for the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix

Four places to stay for Marina Bay — from race-first convenience to Singapore at its most iconic.

Singapore makes the hotel decision easier than Sepang.

The Marina Bay Street Circuit sits inside the city, with race access spread around Marina Bay, Esplanade, Raffles Place and Bayfront. That means you can stay close to the circuit without giving up the city around it.

The question is less city or circuit? and more which version of Singapore do you want waiting when the racing stops?

01

For the most race-first luxury base, Mandarin Oriental makes an unusually clean case.

The hotel sits at 5 Raffles Avenue in Marina Bay, opposite the Esplanade, with views across the bay. During the race-weekend road closures, its driveway is a designated taxi drop-off on the Marina Square side of the circuit, near Gate 7.

That places the hotel directly inside the part of the city transformed by the Grand Prix weekend.

Pronte pick: For keeping Marina Bay and the circuit close.

02

The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore

Stay for the waterfront

The Fullerton Bay Hotel puts the weekend directly on Marina Bay.

The hotel sits at 80 Collyer Quay, on the Fullerton waterfront beside Gate 5. Rooms, dining and the rooftop Lantern look across the bay and the skyline, which makes it a natural choice if you want the race-weekend atmosphere to continue after you get back.

It is not itself a designated taxi driveway. The drop-off for this side of the circuit is at Collyer Quay, a short walk away. This is less about escaping the event than staying inside its setting.

Pronte pick: For the strongest waterfront atmosphere.

03

Raffles Singapore

Stay for the landmark

Raffles offers a different version of the weekend.

The hotel sits at 1 Beach Road in Singapore’s historic and business district, with its all-suite format, dedicated butler service, spa and one of the city’s most recognisable heritage addresses.

You trade the immediate Marina Bay waterfront for something more distinctly Singapore: a hotel that feels like part of the destination rather than simply a base for it.

Pronte pick: For heritage and old-Singapore character.

04

Marina Bay Sands

Stay for the spectacle

If the skyline is part of the reason you came, Marina Bay Sands is the obvious answer.

The hotel sits directly at Bayfront MRT, with the Marina Bay waterfront, The Shoppes and Sands SkyPark built into the same wider complex. Hotel guests also receive access to the SkyPark Infinity Pool on Level 57.

For race weekend, designated taxi drop-offs at the hotel towers and the casino serve the Gate 8 side at Helix.

It is the biggest, most theatrical version of staying inside Marina Bay.

Pronte pick: For making the destination itself part of the event.

How close do you want to be?

For the simplest race-first base, Mandarin Oriental keeps you on the Marina Square side, near Gate 7.

For waterfront atmosphere, The Fullerton Bay Hotel makes the strongest case.

For a hotel that feels like a destination in its own right, choose Raffles Singapore.

And if you want the full Marina Bay spectacle around you from morning to night, Marina Bay Sands is difficult to separate from the experience itself.

Singapore’s street circuit means none of these choices requires the same city-versus-track compromise as Sepang.
