Where to Stay for the 2026 São Paulo Grand Prix
Four city bases for Interlagos — and the hours around it.
São Paulo asks you to choose a neighbourhood before you choose a room.
Interlagos sits away from the city’s central dining and cultural districts. A good hotel makes the evening easy; the journey to the circuit still needs its own plan.
Stay for the city. Leave room for the race-day journey.
Rosewood São Paulo
Art and the city
In Bela Vista’s Cidade Matarazzo, Rosewood gives the stay a strong sense of place. Its art collection, restaurants and Asaya Spa make the hotel part of the weekend rather than simply somewhere to sleep.
Choose it if architecture, culture and a considered dinner matter as much as the hours at Interlagos.
For: A city stay with an artistic point of view.
Hotel Fasano São Paulo
Jardins after dark
The Jardins address is the one to know here, distinct from Fasano’s Itaim hotel. The mood is discreet, with Italian dining at Fasano and Baretto for a later drink.
It suits a weekend that leaves space for Jardins between race days: time to recharge, then a change of pace for dinner.
For: Dining and an understated neighbourhood base.
Palácio Tangará
A quieter return
In Panamby, surrounded by Burle Marx Park, Tangará trades the city’s pavement rhythm for greenery. Indoor and outdoor pools and a spa give the return from the circuit a softer register.
Choose it for downtime. Its park setting is the attraction; it is a different proposition from staying among the restaurants of Jardins.
For: Rest and a retreat among greenery.
Grand Hyatt São Paulo
A full-service base
In the Berrini business district, Grand Hyatt offers spacious rooms, city views, indoor and outdoor pools and Amanary Spa. It is a straightforward choice for travellers who want the hotel to cover several parts of the stay.
It works particularly well when the race sits within a longer visit or a trip with work attached. Plan the circuit transfer separately.
For: A practical hotel stay with room to unwind.
City or retreat?
Rosewood and Fasano put the city’s cultural or dining life at the centre of the stay. Tangará makes the hotel itself a place to slow down. Grand Hyatt offers a full-service base in Berrini.
None of these choices removes race-day logistics. Plan around your ticket’s entrance gate and the official GP mobility guide, allowing extra time for transfers, the final walk and departure crowds.
